CONDITION BASED MONITORING
WHAT IS CONDITION MONITORING ?
In general, Condition Monitoring is regular or continuous measurements of conditional parameters (Predictor and/or Indicator), in order to determine the physical state of an item or system without disturbing its normal operation.

The objective of the Condition Monitoring technique is to provide information with respect to the actual condition of the system and any change in that condition.

This information is used to schedule Conditional Maintenance tasks, on an as needed basis instead of relying on predetermined times.

The selection of the Condition Monitoring technique(s) depends on the failure mechanisms, type of equipment used and importantly on economic and safety consequences.
QUESTIONS:
-
Do you have unexpected failures ?
-
Do you have any machine vibrations you are unable to reduce ?
-
How much is this costing your company per hour ?
-
Do you have any repeat that cause disruption to production ?
-
Are you firefighting faults ?
-
How can you improve your current maintenance practices ?
SOLUTION:
-
G&P Controls provide an integrated reliability service that will manage and drive your maintenance tasks through Health Based Maintenance.
-
This Enables us to engineer out repeat defects and increase production up-time.

ENHANCING SYSTEM RELIABILITY THROUGH VIBRATION TECHNOLOGY
“My name is James Sylvester of G&P Controls (AMIEAust - EngTech - AMInstNDT). When I started my career in Engineering and Maintenance I was frustrated by the lack of clear mentoring available to help me
develop and hone my skills. So this is why I have ventured into supporting others like myself
who would benefit from a little guidance.”
“This technical reference book comprises of many years’ experience in the fields of Vibration
Analysis, Condition Monitoring and Reliability Engineering”
